Hurricane Sandy Update

Online.wsj.com – Millions of people along the U.S. East Coast awoke without power or mass transit Tuesday, as Superstorm Sandy carved a harrowing path of destruction, inundating Atlantic City and sending cars floating through the streets of lower Manhattan.

Reuters.com – A possible levee breach in northern New Jersey on Tuesday, flooded three towns with 4 to 5 feet of water in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, prompting the evacuation of hundreds from their homes.

ABCNews.go.com – Paramedics and other medical workers began to evacuate patients from New York University Langone Medical Center due to a power outage caused by Tropical Storm Sandy, followed by a failure of backup generators at the hospital…
